Marwa, Rahma & Kathy
Marwa and Rahma were the first set of twins to be adopted together out of Egypt, thanks to the strong will and determination of their amazing father who single-handedly took on the Egyptian government. So when COVID-19 entered their home earlier this year, they never imagined it could take away such a pillar of strength. From the moment their father went on a ventilator, they never saw him again. Not seeing him has often left the family wondering if he is really gone. Between navigating estates in a pandemic and dealing with the stigma associated with having the virus, this experience has affected their lives in countless ways.
