Creative Embers has options for aiding independent artists and organizations looking to produce works of artistic activism. Through our yearly mini-grants and fiscal sponsorship program, you can find the best way to collaborate and support your work.
ARTIST GRANTS
Creative Embers offers yearly micro-grants up to $1000 to artists. Grants may cover a small portion of the costs for artists’ projects or fully fund the project. Yearly grants may have a special interest in projects covering a specific social issue. All granting availability, deadlines, maximum ask amounts, and application release dates are subject to change. To apply, projects must have some public health benefits and be non-commercial in nature.
FISCAL SPONSORSHIPS
Many artists and companies looking to create artistic activism cannot harness funding because they lack a 501c3 status. With a Creative Embers fiscal sponsorship, independent artists can solicit tax-deductible donations and apply for grants using our 501c3 status. Creative Embers will provide administrative assistance and help produce “sponsored” projects to ensure they align with our mission to create work that inspires social change.
